OFFICIAL LEGAL NAME

Please refrain from using nicknames or middle names as first names or just initials on official request for action.  I understand that some members are called by a name other than their official name; however, we can only process actions on members base on the name that’s in ADII.  Official names (First, Middle Initial, Last) as per verified documents that were provided during their initial entry into the Auxiliary. Using names other than the official name on request slows down processing, as it requires research when the member number and names don't match.  When we process members for their annual Security checks, we are required to provide the legal names of the members to ensure we have the actual member.  To officially change a members name requires a ANSC  Form 7028 (Change of Member Information) and appropriate legal documents.
