NOTICE iPHONE USERS: Error message when trying to attach photo

I'm trying to upload a photo for a new member ID and getting this error message. I've tested other photos and they upload fine:

html> <head><title>500 Internal Server Error</title></head> <body bgcolor="white"> <center><h1>500 Internal Server Error</h1></center> <hr><center>nginx/1.14.1</center> </body> </html> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page --> <!-- a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page -->

Good Morning Sir,

are you attaching the picture as a PNG or a link? If you convert it to a PNG and are still getting the error send it to Ricky at richard.d.dunnington@uscg.mil

Max File size is 6MB, please ensure your photo being attached does not exceed that limit.

I understand the rules of the photo file. The PNG file that I tried to attach was 2.9 MB. It should have worked. I wanted to bring it to your attention

Thank you Peter-  I am seeing a similar system message for pdf files that are created via an iPhone scan of a document-  image file size is well within size limit- the problem is image file contains attributes that are not passing filters on host server.
to correct the pdf problem we save the pdf file with unworkable attributes to create another pdf file w/o the scanned image attributes & that has worked well to upload to Hesk.  Suggest you save the PNG image as new image file in an attempt to remove the iPhone image attributes that will not clear host server inbound file checks.

I have tried saving it so many different ways and tried attaching each way including a screen shot version and saving it different ways and get the same message. I have a photo of a newer member that I am going to try before attempting to submit it. It may be the FSO-HR phone. Im not looking for you to provide an answer. I am only bringing it to your attention. Thank you for your understanding.
