DISESTABLISHMENT OF FLOTILLA

As it stands now, we have two flotilla’s that will be deactivated soon.  I wanted to provide some information for any flotilla that may do so in the future. 

First, since the DIRAUX is no longer required to receive the ANSC 7025, if you have a monthly meeting in which your members decide to disestablish your flotilla, please let the DIRAUX and your COLM know as soon as practical.  Work with your COL/M to ensure that all the tasks required of the flotilla are accomplished.

Second, notify all you members on the vote to disestablish as soon as possible. Have your members submit their request for transfer, disenrollments/retirements as soon as they vote on the disestablishment is made.  That way by time the minutes are approved the next month, they may have already submitted their paperwork.

Third, when all the documents are properly submitted to the DIRAUX, all retired members on your roles will be archived.  So, there is nothing you need to do for them.  

This deactivation only works more efficiently depending on the diligence and coordinated efforts from all parties involved.  So please remember that communication between the parties is a must.
